More Alaskan Native Heritage

Native Alaskans from the Inside Passage area built Totems. This was an example of the Tinglet tribe.Add caption
Game of strength and skill, hold body off floor with one hand and hit the tethered ball with the other hand.
We listened to a several talks about how the Native Alaskans and the Eskimos are trying to stay with their native cultures. It is hard because so many of their population do not have jobs and can't support their families. Many of the young are moving away. The native populations of Alaska have more hunting and fishing rights than others do. This helps some, but it is a very hard life.
