We ate salmon and smoked salmon dip at our new friends house last night. She is 72 and still traveling all over the world. She bikes, dives, and snow skis in the different countries that she visits. They are going to Italy in August. I think Hoa is going to travel with her to Burma or Vietnam.
We toured downtown Anchorage, went to the tourist center, which was very good, with short movies all day and lots of info and animals from around the area. We walked along the Ship Creek trail that people can fish along when the salmon are running. We ended viewing Cook Inlet. It is beautiful, with the mountains across it. Anchorage is situated almost surrounded by mountains, with the water on one side.
