Homer Fishing Trip

Austin caught 1st and 3rd, Bob caught 2nd and 6th fish.

My brother Bob and his son Austin went Halibut fishing this morning. They went with A-Ward fishing company out of Homer, Ak. My cousin Carl in Oregon had recommended Captain Bob. They had an amazing time! Austin caught the biggest fish today. It weighed 72 lbs. He also caught a 20 lb, Bob caught a 25 lb halibut and a Rock bass. We ate grilled Rock fish and Halibut for supper. Umm good!! We cooked potatoes and onions also on the grill. They still have 60 lbs. to take home. I'm going to keep 10 lbs so they only have to ship 50lbs. They also saw puffins and sea otters. Leann and I saw a whale off the coast when we were going to pick them up.
